Former husband-and-wife pair James Cameron (Avatar) and Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker) led this morning's Oscar nominations with nine nods each. Little Gold Men's Julian Sancton was surely the first to predict a best-director win for Bigelow, way back in September, but even he couldn't have foreseen a neck-and-neck horse race like this.
