On Sunday night during the Oscar’s “In Memoriam” segment, stars such s Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze, Brittany Murphy, Ron Silver were remembered. However, Farrah Fawcett was amazingly left out of the segment. Many people, including Ryan O’Neal, Farrah’s longtime partner, were shocked and disappointed that the Academy could make such a glaring omission. O’Neal and Tatum, Farrah’s son, are planning to write a letter to the Academy. In response, Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences spokeswoman Leslie Unger said, “Every year, it’s an unfortunate reality that we can’t include everybody.” What a pathetic response. Just admit, you forgot!

Don’t blame Oscars co-producer Adam Shankman for the snub of Farrah Fawcett, who was coldly left out of the segment memorializing Patrick Swayze, Michael Jackson, Brittany Murphy Karl Malden and others. The late 'Clueless' actress - who passed away aged 32 on December 20 2009 - left her entire estate to her mother Sharon Murphy, and nothing to British screenwriter Simon Monjack, it has been claimed. Despite the snub, Simon is happy with the way his wife's assets have been divided, insisting it was on his request that he was not named a beneficiary.

After an unexpected death, Brittany Murphy’s will left nothing with her husband, but he’s okay with that. The actress passed away on December 20, and left her estate entirely to her mother. Screenwriter Simon Monjack explained that after the two married in 2007, she had a will and a trust drafted that left everything to mother, Sharon. At his request, the will says, “I am married to Simon Monjack who I have intentionally left out of this will.” Although the size of her estate is not known, her mom listed the actress’s Hollywood Hills house for $7.25 million.
